RECENT PROJECT: Chad Snowden
The Late Wilford "Crazy Ray" Jones
Operation Forever Free remodeled the late Wilford "Crazy Ray" Jones' home!
"Crazy Ray" Jones - an icon of the city of Dallas will never be forgotten.
For forty-four years, "Crazy Ray" entertained children of all ages. Any memories or condolences that you would like to share of Ray are being printed and
placed into a scrapbook for Mattie to read through. She has been amazed at the outpouring of love and support from fans all over the country - and the world!
She loves the stories and sweet memories and it helps her.
"Mr. Walker, who said he had seen previous offers of help withdrawn, was initially skeptical. But seeing the construction work has changed his mind. "I told them,
'I'll trust you as far as I can throw you- we've heard these promises before,' he recalled. " But they said, 'We're different, we;ll keep our word.' And they did."

Charles "Eric" Richardson
Charles "Eric" Richardson was called to active duty from his position as a Police Officer with the Dallas Police Department after the attacks on September 11, 2001.
Eric was honored to serve his country along side his fellow Air Force unit members (610th Security Forces) in Iraq. During Eric's tour of duty, he sustained injuries which
caused permanent nerve damage to his feet and legs.
When Eric's story was brought to our attention, it was determined that better living conditions were needed for Eric and his family. Working with several of our partners
and contributors, Operation Forever Free was able to quickly step in and coordinate the construction of a new house for Eric, Shelia, Rebecca and Ronnie.
The Richardson's new home was dedicated in November, 2005.
